Actellic 50EC is a broad-spectrum organophosphorus insecticide with contact, stomach, and vapour (fumigant) action for the control of a wide range of insect pests in bulk-stored grain, bagged grain, and storage surfaces. It provides rapid knock-down and long-lasting protection against infestation and re-infestation during storage.
The active ingredient, pirimiphos-methyl, acts as an acetylcholinesterase inhibitor, disrupting the insect nervous system and leading to paralysis and death. Actellic 50EC is intended for use only in food storage practice and must be applied strictly according to label directions.
