Ethrel SL 480 is a plant growth regulator (PGR) formulated to induce and synchronize fruit ripening in pineapples. It is widely used by pineapple farmers to achieve uniform flowering and ripening, improving harvest planning, fruit quality, and market consistency.

Ethrel SL 480 is used for both domestic and export pineapple production, with clearly defined EU MRLs and a short pre-harvest interval, making it suitable for commercial pineapple farms in Kenya.
